This is a series called Tower of Strength. Each piece is done with ink wash and pen, mounted on thick mat-board and displayed in shadow boxes. These pieces tell the story of a person burden with troubles and how their strength, their God has carried them through. The first piece is a lion on a mountain in a defensive position, which represents God. The second piece is of a girl that is struggling under burdens and the people around her are trying to tear down the pillars and collapse them on top of her. And far in the distance the lion is seen. The final scene shows the lion and the girl together on the same mountain as the first scene.
